Ooh! Ooh! Statistics and Progress

So rather than continue to flail around blindly in the dark I decided to have a schlep through all the trades made so far from Jan’11 to present.

This was mainly to search for statistical support for my ‘feeling‘ that I’m finally improving as a trader.

Yes, this may come as something of a shock šŸ˜‰

Keep in mind that I’ve worked full time (and more) through this entire period and continue to do so. This means that I’ve not really placed a lot of trades in comparison to most I guess. In addition I’m still getting to grips with the seriously useful information I need to process from my last post here.

Anyway to avoid duplicationĀ and because people always, always check this out I’ve written the actual info as an update to my Results Page here

Thanks for everyone’s continued support, comments and feedback

Nice to see Robert (I hope the R/R is at least 1/1!). It’s also a good demonstration of why keeping records is so important as it gives us an objective measure as oppose to just ‘feeling’ we’re getting better. Let’s hope that blue line continues to pull away from the red one.

So how are you going to enable yourself to trade more?

BTW the first comment on the results page is not me. Not that it’s bad, it’s just not something I’d say.

Hi Simon – yep, appreciate that was a different individual who posted a few comments. They were pretty ‘direct’ but also absolutely valid so still very useful at the time.

Difficult one on enabling myself to trade more but this will probably be the subject of my next post once I’ve completed figuring out all the angles. Tackling this topic strays into ‘my life and psychology’ more than anything I’ve written to date so it’s needing some proper thought. Stay tuned!
